Congratulations to Foo Jinny on Being Recognised as a Global Women of Influence Awards 2026 Winner

Congratulations to Foo Jinny on being recognised as a Global Women of Influence Awards 2026 Winner by the Global Influencers Publishing House, a prestigious international recognition celebrating women who are driving meaningful impact across education, technology, innovation, and the empowerment of future generations. What makes Foo Jinny's influence remarkable is its reach. She educates in the classroom, research at the forefront of emerging technology, leads initiatives that empower women, and uses digital platforms to inspire thousands beyond the walls of academia, nurturing not just technical skill but confidence, ambition, and an entrepreneurial mindset in the next generation. She believes that knowledge becomes truly powerful when it is shared, accessible, and used to empower others, and her career reflects exactly that.

Among her key achievements, she co-initiated the International Women's Day event "Breaking Barriers, Building Futures: Empowering Women in IT and Engineering," which brought together more than 70 students with accomplished industry leaders from organisations including CIMB, Hilti Asia IT Services, and Fortinet Malaysia. She played a co-key role in establishing the initiative as an annual platform, with the event returning in 2026 to continue empowering women in the field. She has also organised and led more than 10 workshops introducing younger generations to software engineering and received the Student Appreciation of Teaching Award for undergraduate programmes in 2025, a recognition driven by her students and a testament to her dedication in the classroom.

The Global Women of Influence Awards is not simply a nomination-based accolade. Winners are selected based on demonstrated, real-world impact across education, innovation, and community empowerment. Proudly representing Malaysia, Foo Jinny attended the virtual awards ceremony on 12 September 2026 alongside fellow honourees from around the world. We congratulate her on this truly well-deserved international recognition.
