Congratulations to Koay Yun Sheng and Team on Securing 2nd Runner-Up at the Mastercard Future Advisors Challenge 2026

Please join us in congratulating Koay Yun Sheng, a student from the Bachelor of Mechatronic Engineering (Robotics) with Honours programme at Sunway University, and his team on achieving 2nd Runner-Up at the Mastercard Future Advisors Challenge 2026.

The prestigious challenge brought together 140 high-performing students, who were randomly assigned into teams and tasked with solving a real-world business case within just six hours, without the use of AI. Participants were required to quickly adapt to new teammates, collaborate effectively under pressure, and develop strategic recommendations to present before a panel of judges.

Demonstrating exceptional teamwork, adaptability, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, Yun Sheng's team emerged as one of only four finalist teams before ultimately securing the 2nd Runner-Up position in the competition.

This remarkable achievement reflects the ability of Sunway students to excel beyond their technical disciplines and apply their knowledge, creativity, and leadership skills in a highly competitive and fast-paced environment.
