SunFest 2026: Harvest of Wonders: Where Every Seed Grows
SunFest 2026: Harvest of Wonders, organised by the Sunway University Student Council (SUSC) and Sunway College Student Council (SCC), was a four-day campus-wide festival held from 7 to 10 July 2026. Guided by the values of The Giving Sunwayian, the festival promoted youth empowerment and meaningful opportunities among the youth community.
Every harvest begins with a seed. Likewise, every student begins with potential, ideas, and dreams. With the right support and encouragement, SunFest turns these ideas into meaningful initiatives that benefit both students and the wider community. Through the values of Time, Talent, Treasure, Ties, and Testimony, SunFest encouraged students to nurture their potential into lasting positive change.
Officially launched by Y.B. Puan Michelle Ng Mei Sze, SunFest connected with 78 organisations, including 21 NGO partners and 31 external parties. The festival also contributed donations valued at RM10,000 to its Blooming Partners, Nyala Labs and Inclusive Outdoor Classroom, supporting digital literacy for underprivileged youth and inclusive learning opportunities for neurodivergent children.
Highlights included a vibrant Fundraising Bazaar, NGO Fair, engaging campus activities, a student-led Empowerment Fashion Show in collaboration with Sunway STYLO, and pre-event volunteering initiatives with Grace Community Services, The Peace Education Centre, and Project Hope Welfare Association in collaboration with Sunway Student Volunteers (SSV).
SunFest 2026 concluded with WonderFest, a heartfelt celebration of students’ talents and the shared journey throughout the festival. Reflecting the spirit and collective impact of the student community, it served as a lasting reminder for students to carry forward the values of service, collaboration, and social responsibility in their future initiatives.
