Sunway University Ranked ASEAN’s No. 1 Private University for Fourth Consecutive Year
Sunway University has retained its position as the No. 1 private university in ASEAN and Malaysia in the AppliedEdu Public & Private University Rankings: ASEAN 2027, marking its fourth consecutive year at the top of the regional private university table.
The AppliedEdu private university ranking places teaching and learning, graduate employability and student perspectives at the heart of its assessment. Teaching and learning account for 40% of the overall score and employability a further 20%, with student feedback contributing directly to the evaluation. This emphasis aligns with Sunway’s commitment to combining academic depth, practical experience and preparation for meaningful careers.
