Women, Power and Leadership Beyond the Conventional with Evren Sharma

We look back on a thought-provoking session exploring Women, Power and Leadership Beyond the Conventional with Evren Sharma, British-Turkish writer and author of Rumi – Captives of the Light.

The conversation challenged conventional ideas of leadership, highlighting how influence extends beyond titles, visibility and formal authority. Through the stories of women whose contributions have often been overlooked, the session invited us to reflect on whose voices are heard, whose stories are remembered, and the many ways leadership can shape our lives and communities.
