Biography

Dr Kho Shin Rui is a graduate engineer registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and a graduate member of The Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM). She holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a PhD from Swinburne University of Technology. She specializes in structural engineering, with research interests in steel structures. Her research combines experimental testing, finite element modelling, and theoretical analysis to develop rational, mechanics-based design approaches. Her work focuses on advancing the understanding and prediction of structural strength and stability, contributing to the development of safer and more efficient structural systems.
