SBSIC2025 invites groundbreaking research focused on how businesses can contribute to achieving the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within the unique contexts of developing countries.

About the Conference

The SDGs represent a comprehensive global agenda aimed at fostering a sustainable and inclusive future by addressing critical issues such as poverty eradication, hunger elimination, health and well-being promotion, quality education, gender equality, clean water and sanitation, affordable energy, decent work, and sustainable economic growth. Additional priorities include industry innovation, sustainable cities, responsible consumption, climate action, biodiversity protection, inequality reduction, peace and justice promotion, and global partnerships.

The event aims to challenge and expand traditional business research paradigms by encouraging novel theoretical contributions across diverse fields, including strategy, organizational behavior, marketing, operation management, human resource management, business analytics, entrepreneurship, economics, finance, accounting, and business law. It emphasizes the need to adapt and extend theoretical frameworks, often rooted in Western contexts, to address the unique challenges and opportunities businesses encounter in developing countries.

Beyond theoretical advancements, the conference seeks research with significant practical implications, particularly studies that position businesses as transformative agents of sustainable development. Contributions should explore how businesses can innovate, collaborate, and lead efforts that align with the SDGs, addressing global inequities and promoting inclusive growth. Participants are encouraged to examine topics such as poverty alleviation, gender equity, environmental stewardship, and economic resilience while proposing systemic solutions that drive meaningful change.

This conference serves as a platform for interdisciplinary dialogue and actionable insights, uniting academics, policymakers, and business leaders in shaping strategies to achieve the SDGs. Attendees will have the opportunity to contribute to this evolving conversation, pushing the boundaries of research and practice to prioritize societal well-being alongside economic progress.
