Sunway University Press author Ms Ho Xiaojun recently presented her book, Staying Safe at Work: A Guide to Occupational Safety & Health, to the library of the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) Malaysia.
A Registered Safety and Health Officer and Certified Environmental Professional in Scheduled Waste Management (CePSWaM), Ms Ho brings extensive professional experience in occupational safety, environmental management and organisational excellence.
Her book provides a practical guide to occupational safety and health (OSH), covering workplace accidents, Malaysian OSH laws and regulations, real-world case studies, workplace safety management and the increasingly important issue of mental health in the workplace.
The publication is designed to support employers, managers, safety practitioners and students in developing greater awareness of workplace safety and building a stronger safety culture.
Sunway University Press is pleased to see this publication contributing to the wider dissemination of OSH knowledge in Malaysia and congratulates Ms Ho Xiaojun on this meaningful contribution to workplace safety and well-being.
We also thank NIOSH Malaysia for supporting the sharing of knowledge and promoting safer and healthier workplaces across the country.
