Professor Graeme Wilkinson
Tan Sri Jeffrey Cheah Distinguished Professor; Adviser to the President, Sunway University; Chair of the Sunway University Press Editorial Board
Prof Graeme Wilkinson is Tan Sri Jeffrey Cheah Distinguished Professor and the former Vice-Chancellor of Sunway University. He is a graduate of Imperial College London and has a doctorate in atmospheric physics from Oxford University. He held academic posts at several UK universities, led a research team at the EU Joint Research Centre in Italy and took up senior management positions in three UK universities before joining Sunway. He has co-authored over 100 publications and co-edited several books, including Neurocomputation in Remote Sensing Data Analysis and Machine Vision and Advanced Image Processing in Remote Sensing. He has served on the editorial boards of several international remote sensing journals.

Professor Jarlath Ronayne, AM
Tan Sri Jeffrey Cheah Distinguished Professor, Sunway University
Prof Jarlath Ronayne is Tan Sri Jeffrey Cheah Distinguished Professor and member of the Board of Directors at Sunway University. He is a graduate of Trinity College, Dublin and received his PhD from Cambridge. Amongst his many senior leadership roles are Deputy Vice-Chancellor of University of New South Wales, and Vice-Chancellor of Victoria University and Sunway University College. Since 2015 he has established links between Sunway and Oxford and Cambridge. These now include Jeffrey Cheah Professorial Fellowships and Jeffrey Cheah Scholar-in-Residence programmes in Cambridge and Oxford. He is also responsible for collaborations with the Cambridge School of Clinical Medicine and the Royal Papworth Hospital both of which he administers. He is a former Visiting Fellow at Oriel College, Oxford, and St John’s College, Cambridge, and is a Visiting Professor and Honorary Fellow of Trinity College. He has published extensively in areas ranging from chemistry and science policy to academic history.

Carol Wong
Head, Sunway University Press
Carol Wong leads Sunway University Press with a 17-year track record in pivotal publishing roles at Pearson and Marshall Cavendish. Her expertise spans P&L management, product creation and marketing in Singapore and Malaysia. Formerly the Director of Cambridge A-Levels at Sunway College, she is driven by a commitment to impact lives through academic publishing. Holding an Honours degree in Biology from UPM, Malaysia and a Master's degree from the National Institute of Education, NTU Singapore, she brings a wealth of academic insight to her role. Actively contributing to the Malaysian publishing scene, she serves as an EXCO member for MABOPA.
Professor Sabine Chaouche
Associate Dean (Research and Postgraduate Studies) - School of Arts and Co-Director (Sunway) - Future Cities Research Institute
Prof Sabine Chaouche is Professor and Associate Dean (Research) at the School of Arts, Sunway University. She studied at the University of Oxford, UK (social and economic history) and the University of Paris-Sorbonne, France (literature and theatre). Being a versatile scholar, she has interest in diverse disciplines such as the philosophy of creation, trade and business practices, and the visual arts. Her main expertise lies in cultural studies, in particular the history of European acting and staging, and she has extensively published on early modern performances. Her recent research works include studies on prompter-books and revivals (2013 and 2015), female performers (2015), lighting across the centuries (2017), and playwriting (2017). She is proud to be part of the Editorial Board of Sunway University Press.

Associate Professor Dr Sim Tze Ying
Associate Dean (International) - School of Interdisciplinary Studies and Head - Centre for American Education
Dr Sim Tze Ying heads the Center for American Education of Sunway University. She holds a Doctorate of Engineering Degree (Magna Cum Laude) from University of Kassel, Germany, where she was also a researcher and teaching assistant for seven years. Subjects covered by her during her time in Germany included Embedded System, Automotive Programming, and Software Tools for Engineering. She acquired her Master of Science degree from Universiti Putra Malaysia, specialising in Software Engineering, and has worked in Motorola Semiconductor Malaysia for about five years as a System Engineer. Her research areas include variability modelling and engineering education. She enjoys teaching and continues to experiment with different technologies as well as methods that would enhance the teaching and learning engagement. Making education available for all is one of her interests.

Professor Yuka Fujimoto
Professor & Associate Dean (Postgraduate & Research), Sunway University Business School
Prof Yuka Fujimoto is Professor and Associate Dean (Postgraduate & Research), Sunway University Business School at Sunway University. She acquired her PhD in Business Administration from Monash University, Australia and a Bachelor of Business Management First Class Honours from the University of Queensland Business School, Australia. She has been researching in the areas of diversity and inclusion for the past 15 years and has published over 30 journal articles and book chapters to date. Her research has been published in leading journals such as British Journal of Management, Business & Society, Journal of Applied Psychology, International Journal of Manpower, and Personnel Review. She is also Associate Editor for the Journal of Management & Organization and co-author of the textbook, Human Resource Management (Pearson). From 2015–2017, she served as an executive member of the Diversity & Inclusion Theme Committee of the US Academy of Management.

Associate Professor Dr Tamas Kiss
Associate Professor - Centre for English Language Studies, Sunway University
Dr Tamas Kiss is an Associate Professor at the Centre for English Language Studies, Sunway University. He has been involved with language teacher education programmes in Europe, the Middle East, South Asia, Latin America and Southeast Asia. He has delivered one-off talks and directed longer, intensive teacher development courses in more than 20 countries by invitation of universities, language teacher organisations, cultural institutions, and international publishing houses. His main research interests include language pedagogy, language teacher education, creativity, intercultural communication, the link between complex dynamic systems and education, and the role of culture in language teaching materials.

Dr Jason Cheok Boon Chuan
Director of Programme – Victoria University Undergraduate Programme, Sunway College
Dr Jason Cheok Boon Chuan serves as the Director of the Victoria University Undergraduate Programme at Sunway College. He earned his Doctor of Philosophy from Victoria University, focusing on cross-cultural service interactions between guests and service providers in luxury hotel settings. Collaborating with his principal supervisor, Professor Anne-Marie Hede, and co-supervisor Dr Torgeir Aleti Watne, Jason successfully published in two highly regarded journals: Current Issues in Tourism and Journal of Vacation Marketing. Apart from his doctoral achievements, Jason holds an MBA from the United States and completed his undergraduate degree in Canada. In addition to overseeing the Victoria University programme, he has contributed to various journals as editors and is currently dedicated to fostering a research-oriented environment. Jason actively encourages and supports his colleagues within the programme to undertake research initiatives and pursue their PhD aspirations.

Associate Professor Dr Ooi Pei Boon
Associate Professor - School of Medical and Life Sciences, Sunway University
Dr Ooi Pei Boon obtained her PhD in Guidance and Counselling from Universiti Putra Malaysia. She is a registered and practising counsellor with the Lembaga Kaunselor Malaysia. Under the Counsellor Act 1998 (Act 580), Dr Ooi serves as the core member of the Malaysia Board of Counsellors. Dr Ooi has been the editor of books and proceedings published under Sunway University Press and has been recently appointed PLOS ONE Academic Editor since August 2023.

Chong Wah Tien
Sales & Marketing Manager, Sunway University Press
Chong Wah Tien is Sales & Marketing Manager at Sunway University Press. He has been in the book trade industry for over 20 years, with expertise in book sales and marketing, retail and merchandising, and distribution. He has also been involved in numerous book fairs and exhibitions. He holds a Bachelor of Information Technology from University of Southern Queensland, Australia and is a father of two. An avid reader since young, his favourite authors are JRR Tolkien and Luo Guanzhong.

Hani Hazman
Senior Editor, Sunway University Press
Hani Hazman is Senior Editor at Sunway University Press. She read law and received her LLB from University of Bristol, UK. In pursuit of a career in publishing, she joined Wolters Kluwer, Cyberjaya in the capacity of Subeditor where she helped edit newsletters, case books and legislation books. She later joined BASS Sdn Bhd, Kuala Lumpur as Technical Writer to further flex her writing muscles. Also an enthusiast of literature and the arts, she studied world literature and modern art history at SOAS University of London, UK. She finds great comfort in books, old films, and cats.

Ivan Ling
Editor, Sunway University Press
Ivan Ling is an Editor at Sunway University Press. A zealous reader and writer of all things literary, he studied English Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Nottingham (Malaysia). There, he held the Co-Editor in Chief position for its literary outlet, Particle Magazine. Being a writer and a poet (wrote and performed), Ivan’s poetry has been published in Particle Magazine’s Issue 18 (Adrift) and the upcoming Issue 20 (Kaleidoscope). He also won the Kuching Green Microfiction Challenge 2022. Currently pursuing his Masters in English Literature at Universiti Malaya, his research surrounds the works of poetry by Malaysian women.
