From November 27 to December 3, 2024, Sunway University Press proudly participated in the Selangor International Book Fair 2024 as part of the collective effort organized under MAPIM (Majlis Penerbitan Ilmiah Malaysia) at the Setia City Convention Center (SCCC). Organized by the Selangor Public Library Corporation (Perbadanan Perpustakaan Awam Selangor), the week-long event brought together publishers, authors, and book enthusiasts under one roof, celebrating a shared passion for literature and knowledge.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the organizers for hosting this incredible event, which provided an excellent platform to connect with readers and showcase our latest publications. A special thanks to MAPIM (Majlis Penerbitan Ilmiah Malaysia) for which we were part of us creating a vibrant and collaborative space for academic publishers to engage with a wider audience.
The venue, Setia City Convention Center, offered a comfortable and welcoming environment that enhanced the overall experience for both exhibitors and visitors. The extended hours from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm daily allowed us to interact with a diverse crowd of book lovers, making the event a truly memorable one.
We are delighted to have been part of this successful book fair and look forward to joining the Selangor International Book Fair again in 2025. Thank you for the opportunity to contribute to the growth of knowledge and literature in Malaysia!
