Kevin Chan’s research interests lie in visual culture, persuasion, and propaganda. His passion for art history and visual culture led him to pursue a Master’s degree in Visual Arts at Universiti Malaya, where he researched Japanese visual propaganda during the occupation of Malaya and its alignment with the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere ideology. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Creative Arts and Media at Sunway University, focusing on British visual persuasion during the colonial periods of Malaya.
