Biography
Dr. Moinuddin Mohammed Quazi is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Sunway University, Malaysia. He obtained his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Malaya. He has industrial experience as a mechanical engineer in the Petrochemical sector. Prior to joining Sunway University, he served at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), a leading Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) university in Malaysia.
Dr. Quazi's research focuses on advanced manufacturing and materials engineering, with interests in laser-based materials processing, surface engineering, tribology, additive manufacturing, and sustainable manufacturing technologies. He has authored more than 80 journal publications, including numerous papers in high-impact international journals, and has secured several national and institutional research grants as Project Leader and Co-Investigator. He actively contributes to the scholarly community as an editor, reviewer, and mentor for international journals and publishers. He has served as a Guest Editor and Editorial Board member for SCI-based international journals.
