It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Department of Business Analytics.
Business Analytics has become increasingly important as organisations rely more heavily on data to understand their business, make decisions, and plan for the future. As a department, our focus is to ensure that our students develop the right balance of business understanding, analytical knowledge, and practical skills.
Through our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, we aim to provide students with opportunities to apply what they learn to real business problems. At the same time, we want them to develop the ability to think critically, communicate their findings clearly, and use data responsibly.
As the Department continues to grow, we are also working to strengthen our curriculum, research activities, and engagement with industry. This is only possible with the commitment of our academic team, who bring different expertise and experiences to the Department.
Ultimately, we hope that our graduates leave Sunway with the confidence and skills to contribute meaningfully to their organisations and the wider community.
