Sunway University’s School of Engineering and Technology wins MDEC’s Best Faculty Award

A Premier Digital Tech Institution (PDTI) has been designated by the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) as a recommended university for tertiary digital technology and IT programmes. Sunway University has been awarded the “Premier Digital Tech Institution” status since 2017. Through excellent teaching, effective administrative support, and individualised attention, the School of Engineering and Technology (SET) provides students with a superior learning experience. The team of devoted and experienced academicians impart information and knowledge in engineering and technology while also instilling students with strong values and professionalism to serve society. It is no wonder that the School won the BEST FACULTY 2021 award by MDEC.  

The selection criteria were based on the highest number of industry engagements, the number of micro-credentials developed, success stories by the school, academic members and students and finally, the ability to demonstrate PDTI branding effort through all the events run in the school.
