The Human Resource Department provides policy guidance, training and support to all staff members on all Human Resource-related policies. The Department ensures the implementation, monitoring and ethical compliance of these policies across the institution.

OnBrand: Our Pledge for Service Excellence

In May 2023, all staff will be scheduled for workshops that focus on how Sunway University can deliver exceptional customer service at all levels of operation and reiterate our pledge to service excellence. Look out for emails from your line managers. 

Sunway Education Staff Wellness Week 2024

On 30 August, we celebrated health and well-being during our Staff Wellness Week, featuring wellness talks, interactive workshops, meditation sessions, and physical activities at SunGym. The Wellness Bazaar was a hit with fantastic deals, free fruit cups, gelato ice cream, company-subsidized massages, and free health assessments.

Awareness of Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy

The Human Resource Department has organised briefing sessions to provide awareness of the principles and application of the Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy, which took effect on 11 August 2020. Understanding DEI and Anti-Sexual Harassment at the Workplace

This session aims to empower staff with DEI principles and equip them to combat sexual harassment collectively, fostering a safe and inclusive workplace for collective success. Attendance is mandatory for all staff.

Sunway Staff Association

Sunway Staff Association

Sunway Staff Association is an official association for Sunway Academic staff, with the primary objective to work with Management to provide a conducive working environment for staff to realise the vision and mission of Sunway University. This association also provides an avenue for staff to voice grievances and provide suggestions for improvement. Representatives sit in committees such as the Teaching and Learning Committee, Safety, Health and Environment Committee, Food & Beverage Committee, and the Staff Welfare Committee.
