There are two principal activities undertaken by this Centre:
- Apply spectroscopic methods, augmented by single crystal structure analysis, in structure determination
- Engage in the analysis of supramolecular association in order to rationalise the way molecules are connected, discover new supramolecular synthons and construct a hierarchy of their relative importance
