Malaysia’s vision to become a progressive and prosperous nation by 2030, encompasses the adoption of peaceful use of nuclear technology as an enabler to drive socio-economic development. In this respect the National Nuclear Technology Policy 2021-2030 lays out foundations for nuclear technology to drive key focus areas in order to deliver long-term national benefit. The policy framework and guidance set out in the report serve as a reference guide to the national agenda for the advancement of peaceful uses of nuclear technology. The aim of the policy guide is to enable maximum leverage of existing nuclear technologies as well as identify the next generation of nuclear technology applications able to create strong socio-economic outcomes and impacts This study was done in collaboration with the Academy of Sciences Malaysia.
