Biography
Associate Professor Dr Foo Yee Boon joined Sunway Business School in 2022. Before joining Sunway University, she was the Deputy Head of School (Research) of the School of Business, Monash University Malaysia. She had taught all levels of financial accounting subjects since 2008 at Monash University Malaysia. Prior to her academic career, she had worked in multinational companies and public listed companies as an accountant. She is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Her research interest is in auditing, corporate disclosure, corporate governance and capital market. She has published in top-ranked accounting journals. In recognition of her contribution to teaching and research, she had received a few teaching awards and a research award.
