During the late 70s through to late 90s, Alleycats, a multi-ethnic band, successfully broke cultural and racial barriers in the Malaysian recording and performing music industry. Produced by filmmaker Nor Hazlin Nor Salam and sponsored by Sunway University in collaboration with Penang House of Music, this documentary explores untold stories of the band. The documentary intimately explores their love for music as well as relationships with family and friends in Penang’s culturally rich environment. The narrative intimately explores ups and downs and how they stayed true to what they loved best - making great music traversing social boundaries and enjoyed by all.
