We would like to invite you to the book launch of the "Routledge Handbook on Tourism and Small Island States in the Pacific", edited by Professor Marcus L. Stephenson, the Dean of the School of Hospitality and Service Management at Sunway University. Consisting of 27 chapters, this book examines the development and role of tourism in small Pacific Island states located across Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia - with a particular focus on the 13 self-governing states which are faced with the challenges of pursuing an independent path of development.

This book is dedicated to the memory of the late Professor David Harrison.
