Sunway University Rises in QS Asia Ranking

Sunway University has risen 22 places in the QS Asia Ranking 2021, moving up from position 194 to position 172. This puts the University in the top 1.5% of universities in Asia and well on track to be in the top 100 by 2025.

This rise was mainly due to improvement in our academic reputation and employer reputation as well as improvements in research citations to our published research papers. The strong upward growth in the University’s research performance on a number of measures should result in further significant ranking increases in future years.
