AMSET 2023 Hosted at Sunway University

The Research Centre for Nano-Materials and Energy Technology (RCNMET), at the School of Engineering and Technology of Sunway University, Malaysia, recently hosted the prestigious first international conference on Advanced Materials & Sustainable Energy Technologies 2023 (AMSET 2023). 

Professor Dr Noorsaadah Abd Rahman FASc, Secretary-General of the Academy of Sciences Malaysia, officiated the event. Following this, a speech was delivered by AMSET2023 Chairperson, Professor Dr Adarsh Pandey. Speeches were also delivered by President of Sunway University, Professor Sibrandes Poppema, and the Dean of the School of Engineering and Technology (SET), Professor Ir. Denny K. S. NG. 

The event also featured plenary speaker remarks by the esteemed Professor V Ramgopal Rao from Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), India, and other keynote speeches delivered by Professor Dato' Ts. Dr. Kamaruzzaman Sopian from Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP), Malaysia, and Prof. Dr Yogendra Kumar Mishra, Syddansk Universitet, from the University of Southern Denmark, Denmark.

Sunway University is immensely proud to have hosted such a prestigious conference. The University hopes to continue to serve as a platform for other critical discussions in the future.
