Sunway University Moves Up in THE World University Rankings 2024!

Sunway University's ranking moved up in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2024.

Sunway University has climbed one band in the rankings, going from the band of 801-1000, to the band of 601-800. This year's edition of the THE rankings included 1,904 universities across 108 countries and regions. Additionally, Sunway University has maintained its position as the number 1 ranked private, non-government-linked university in Malaysia.

The ranking methodology was significantly changed for the 2024 rankings. The 2023 rankings previously used 13 performance indicators to evaluate universities, while the 2024 rankings used 18 performance indicators, which are spread out over five pillars or five categories.
