The programme invites higher education academics who are looking for opportunities to improve their practice and to gain a better understanding of theoretical educational frameworks, theories and principles that are applicable to your practice. Through engagement with and reflection on data from multiple lenses (students, self, literature, and peers), participants in the programme embark on a journey of discovery on what worked and what did not work in their practice and strategise plans for improvement within the context of their practice.
In the programme, students will engage in a comprehensive curriculum covering essential facets of higher education, including Introduction to Teaching and Learning in Higher Education, Curriculum Design, Technology to Support Learning, Reflective Practice in Teaching, and more. The carefully curated subjects address the evolving needs of modern higher education, ensuring participants relevant engagement with topics that matter.
The programme is structured to accommodate the demanding schedules of academics. It spans 1.5 years in a part-time format, enabling participants to balance academic pursuits with existing commitments.
