Biography

Amelia Wong is a postgraduate student at the School of Mathematical Sciences, specializing in Data Analytics. As an active member of the Sunway University Postgraduate Student Council, she advocates for student engagement, academic excellence, and professional development opportunities. Amelia has presented her research at international conferences and was recently awarded the Best Paper Award at the ASEAN Data Science Symposium 2024. Passionate about using data for social good, she volunteers with NGOs to analyze trends in education accessibility. Outside of academia, she enjoys marathon running and mentoring undergraduate students in quantitative research.
