Biography

Dr Anuja S. Chalke is a Lecturer at the Department of Marketing Strategy & Innovation, Sunway Business School. Her learning and education journey spans five countries: India, United Kingdom, Malaysia, Singapore, and Australia. This has not only endowed Dr. Chalke with a global outlook; but also nurtured her ability to empathise and engage effectively with students from diverse backgrounds. She is a quantitative researcher. Her scholarly inquiries revolve around a captivating theme: the intricate interplay between visually driven media content and consumer persuasion. Specifically, her research explores the psychological mechanism of narrative transportation and consumer responses to social media advertising driven by storytelling.
