RESPECT Campaign

Sunway University Student Council, Sunway College Student Council, and Postgraduate Student Council aim to coordinate THE RESPECT campaign with the management to celebrate the diversity and inclusivity within the student community. With a growing population of international students, it becomes increasingly crucial to recognize the importance of cultural diversity among the student body.

 Respect: Background Description

  • A publicity stunt and interactive activity aimed at tackling the issue of exclusion through raising awareness about privilege among Sunway students.
  • The facilitator will voice a series of statements that require the students to take a step forward or backward.
  • At the end of the activity, the students in front enjoy more social privileges than those at the back. Students will then collectively share on their experience with diversity, inclusivity, and privilege.
