Water-Conscious Building Standards

SDG 6.3.4

Sunway University follows green building standards for all renovations and new construction projects as stipulated in our Green Building Design Guideline. Resource-efficient designs, such as high-efficiency chillers and water-saving fixtures, are integral to the University's building practices.

To minimize water wastage, all washroom taps are sensor-operated, and shower-spray bidets are installed in place of open bidets to control water flow. Older water appliances are replaced with more efficient models as needed.
