AQAC2022 - Call For Papers

The Organising Committee of the 2022 ASEAN Quality Assurance Conference invites submissions of short papers (1800-2200 words), as well as case studies, shorter technical contributions on problems and solutions, and perspectives articles (suggested minimum 1000 words). All submitted papers/articles will be peer-reviewed by the conference committees, and accepted submissions will be included in ISBN-indexed post-conference proceedings.

Below are some of the suggested topics for reference. Other topics are also welcomed.

Paper Submission Requirements 

  1. At least one author must register for the conference, and only one of the authors is allowed to present with each submission.
  2. Authors may submit multiple entries but must register and present at the event.
  3. At least two independent peers will review papers submitted in full for technical merit and content. 
  4. Those accepted to the conference may be eligible for publishing in post-conference proceedings.
  5. Decisions made by the scientific committee to accept and publish papers will be final.
  6. By submitting a manuscript to this conference, authors acknowledge that all papers must be original and have not been previously accepted or published in a substantially similar form to any other conference or journal.
  7. The full paper must be written in English and be between 1800 and 2200 in length (not including abstract, references, tables, figures and appendices). Case studies, shorter technical contributions on problems and solutions, and perspectives articles should be at least 1000 words in length.
  8. Authors are required to prepare their full papers using Microsoft Word with the template provided and send by email to [email protected] with the email subject title: 2022 AQAC SUBMISSION 
  9. Tables and Images Guidelines:
    • Maximum of 3 tables
    • Maximum of 2 images
    • The maximum file size for each figure is 500 KB, JPG format only

    • Abstract (250 words)
    • Keywords: minimum 3; maximum 5

    • Data analysis

    • Discussion
    • Reference (APA 7th Format)
    • Note: case studies, problem statements & solutions, and perspectives articles do not need to provide method, data analysis or results. Alternative sections are permitted according to the nature of the submission.
  11. Authorship

    • Affiliations should follow this format: Department, Institute, City, Country
    • Author’s name format should be “Surname followed by First name initial” – e.g. “Bradley D.A.”, “Peh, S. C.”, etc.
    • Please underline the name of the presenter

     

Oral Presentation

  • 15 minutes each. 5 minutes for Q&A session.

The winning oral will be chosen by a panel of judges based on the following criteria: 

  • Scientific Contribution and Need (e.g., rigour, impact, innovation, research problems are timely and relevant)
  • Clarity and Structure (e.g., the objectives are clear, clearly structured, conclusions conforming with the objectives)
  • Visualisation and Communication (e.g., eye-catching display, concise and informative graphics/pictures, ideas are well communicated in engaging and understandable ways etc.)
