SDG Course
The online learning platform, E-Learn, is where staff must complete a compulsory SDG course set by the SDG Academy here at the University. The staff's knowledge about sustainability is tested as well as their behavioural patterns and practices on and off campus. The topics tested usually have a theme or focus for the year, for example, recycling and waste management.
These courses encourage staff to better engage with sustainable practices while on campus and to bring these practices into their personal lives. The topics tested range from recycling to waste management.
E-Orientation
The E-Orientation course for staff that are going through the onboarding process includes sustainable practices and initiatives that they must adhere to such as Sustainable IT practice (dual sided printing, e-waste disposal and many more)
- Linked In Learning
Various SDG Academy courses are available on LinkedIn Learning that will award the user with a certificate upon completion. . These programs are data-driven and designed to provide learners with the skills they need to succeed. According to LinkedIn Learning, the platform can also improve government and business employee engagement. For students, LinkedIn Learning can furnish supplemental education and help job-seekers find employment after graduation. The LinkedIn Learning Relay Race is a staff development programme intended to expose staff to on-demand skills by industry experts. Staff are encouraged to complete the SDG Academy course during this period.
