Best IPTS for the THIRD time in Sukan Institusi Pendidikan Tinggi (SUKIPT) 2018

Sunway University sent 154 athletes to take part in 18 sports for the fifth edition of SUKIPT this year. SUKIPT is Malaysia’s largest University sports competition and the 2018 edition has got 80 institutions and more than 6,000 athletes took part. Contingents came from public universities, private universities, Polytechnics, Community Colleges and, 4 overseas universities from Thailand, Singapore, India and Indonesia. The event commenced from the 1st February to 10th February in University Kebangsaan Malaysia, Bangi and had widespread media coverage.

From the last edition in Johore back in 2016, Team Sunway finished overall fourth with a medal haul of 17 gold, 17 silver and 15 bronze. This year, we maintained our overall position and gold medal tally as we bagged 17 gold, 14 silver and 18 bronze.
