School of Hospitality Participates in the 2018 Teachers’ Day Celebration

The Marketing Department of Sunway Education Group recently hosted Teachers’ Day for 140 teachers from 43 schools within Klang Valley and Seremban, to appreciate the teachers for their amazing guidance and professional support for the betterment of the young generation. The School of Hospitality students (Diploma in Events Management and Diploma in Hotel Management) participated in organising this event by producing the aesthetic elements for a ‘Neverland’ theme and acting as event staff for the day. 

Lecturer, Ms Hairani M Nur, said that “The students learnt decoration production, budget management, team work and customer service throughout this process. It was also an excellent platform to showcase and promote programmes offered by the School of Hospitality”.
