SST Researchers Sign Research Collaboration Agreement with Brigham and Women’s Hospital (Harvard Medical School)

Congratulations to our SST researchers - Professor Jeff Tan (Principal Investigator) and Prof Poh Chit Laa (Co-Investigator) who have recently signed a research collaboration agreement with Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH). BWH, a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School, is recognized internationally for its excellence and innovation in patient care, biomedical research, and education and training programs for physicians, scientists and health care professionals.

The research collaboration focuses on developing novel cancer therapy targeting drug resistant cancer cells, including cancer stem cells and triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) cells. In addition, this collaboration aims to identify strategies that can overcome therapeutic resistance conferred by tumour micro-environment.
