Students from the School of Hospitality Deliver the Royal Masquerade Dinner Event for ‘World Vision’
The Royal Masquerade Dinner was a splendid event, impeccably executed by a group of BSc (Hons) International Hospitality Management (BIHM) students from various social and cultural backgrounds. Two Thousand Ringgit was raised and channelled to the ‘30-Hour Famine Fun World Vision’ programme.
This small team comprises of Japanese, Kazakhstani, Mauritian, Bhutanese, Indonesian, Vietnamese and Malaysian students.
The event’s success was based on students strong leadership skills, teamwork and social skills. According to Prof. Marcus L. Stephenson, Dean of the School of Hospitality: “The students put a lot of time and effort into this event, which was very creative. The menu was well designed and delivered. I have known World Vision for many years and have always respected their work and mission”.
