SST great achievement in ITEX2019

Two researchers from the Graphene and Advanced 2D Materials Research Group (GAMRG) of Sunway University, Professor Mohammad Khalid and Dr Abdul Khaliq Rasheed, won a GOLD medal at the 30th International Invention, Innovation and Technology Exhibition (ITEX) held from 2-4 May in KLCC.

The gold medal was awarded to “Micratto Technologies”, a research initiative that aims to commercialise IN1901 (also known as Infinoil), which is a proprietary platform technology of engineered graphene sheets (additives) for lubricant formulations that possesses significant improvement on automotive, marine and aerospace application.

Micratto Technologies is one of technology-enabled enterprises that is being incubated by Sunway Innovation Labs, which offers one-on-one business mentoring sessions, market validation sand box, as well as networking opportunity with potential investors for capital financing. Micratto Technologies was also one of the finalists (from an initial over 200 over applications) of Sunway iLabs Accelerator Programme that was launched in January 2018.
