Visit from St. Cloud State University

The Center for American Education (CAE) organized the visit to Sunway University of the President of St. Cloud State University, Dr. Robbyn Wacker and Mr. Shahzad Ahmad, Associate Vice President of Center for International Studies, on Tuesday, March 12, to discuss further collaboration between our institutions. Professor Graeme Wilkinson, Professor Peter Heard and Professor Perry Hobson were present along with Dr. Sim and Doreen John from CAE. Later meetings were also held with staff from Sunway’s International Placement Office. After discussing potential areas of collaboration, President Wacker and Mr. Ahmad visited a class to talk to students about St. Cloud State University, which is one of many universities that students in the American Degree Transfer Program (ADTP) at Sunway can transfer to and receive a good scholarship, making the cost very affordable.
