The UN Women 2021 Malaysia WEPs for Leadership Commitment
The UN Women 2021 Malaysia WEPs Awards revealed Malaysia's top private sector champions for gender equality, aligned with the Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEPs).
The WEPs Awards recognize examplary innovations in the private sector that promote gender equity and women empowerment in the workplace, marketplace and community. Companies and business leaders are urged to take more visible steps to open the door for women in the workplace and inspire other businesses to do the same.

Leadership Commitment: Professor Elizabeth Lee, Chief Executive Officer of Sunway Education Group

"We are indeed proud that for the very first time, Malaysia is hosting The UN Women Empowermment Principle’s (WEPs) Awards, which will comprehensively showcase gender equality good practices from the local business sector.
