CAGR Meets with IIA Malaysia Representatives on Internal Audit Collaboration

A Lunch Meeting between Centre for Accountability and Governance Research (CAGR) in the Department of Accounting and the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Malaysia was held, with representatives from IIAM including Ms. Geetha Kanny, CEO of IIAM and Mr. Dominic Chegne, Partner in PwC and President of IIAM.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss collaboration on student engagement, promote internal audit as a career, and research collaboration to undertake capacity building for the internal audit profession. Currently, the Centre for Accountability and Governance Research is working on the research proposal with IIAM. The research is expected to commence once the research proposal is agreed upon.
