Professor M A Hannan Recognised By Clarivate As A Highly Cited Researcher

Sunway University is proud to announce that Professor M A Hannan, of the School of Engineering and Technology, has been recognised as a highly cited researcher by Clarivate. As per Clarivate's website, each researcher selected as a Highly Cited Researcher has authored multiple Highly Cited Papers™ that rank in the top 1% by citations for their field(s) and publication year in the Web of Science™ over the past decade. While citation activity is a significant factor, it is not the sole determining criterion. A preliminary list of potential candidates is generated based on citation counts, and this list is then rigorously refined through qualitative analysis and expert judgment Of the world’s population of scientists and social scientists, Highly Cited Researchers™ are 1 in 1,000.
