Sustainable Practices in Emerging Economies: Malaysia and Vietnam
A three-day online event titled "Sustainable Practices in Emerging Economies" brought together students from Sunway University, Malaysia, and Ton Duc Thang University, Vietnam, to delve into the realm of sustainability and cultural exchange. Held on the 13th, 14th, and 16th of June 2023, this engaging programme provided participants with valuable insights into sustainable practices in Malaysia and Vietnam while fostering cross-cultural connections.
Over the course of the event, more than 50 students from Sunway University and Ton Duc Thang University engaged in a variety of activities designed to enhance their understanding of sustainable practices. Through expert lectures, participants gained knowledge about sustainable approaches employed in specific sectors such as fashion and education in both countries. Working collaboratively in groups, the students shared their own findings and engaged in discussions, exploring potential solutions to sustainability challenges faced by Malaysia and Vietnam.
