Thriving at Work: Professor Dr Alvin Lai Oon Ng

On World Mental Health Day (WHMD), Associate Dean (International) of the Sunway School of Medical and Life Sciences, Professor Dr Alvin Lai Oon Ng, had an opinion piece published in The Star Daily. His piece highlighted the importance of employee assistance programs (EAP) for mental health and encouraged all employees out there to take their mental health seriously. He also shared that such programs are not just for those suffering from mental health issues but can be used for personal improvement or screening. 

World Mental Health Day is celebrated annually on the 10th of October. This year's theme is "Mental health is a universal human right".
