Visiting Hebei University of Technology's Langfang International Campus (HEBUT) and Shandong Technology and Business University (SDTBU)

 

President Professor Sibrandes Poppema recently visited the Hebei University of Technology's Langfang International Campus (HEBUT) in Hebei on December 7. The purpose of the visit was to forge future collaborations with HEBUT and to promote English courses, aiming to elevate the English proficiency of students aspiring to study abroad in Sunway University. The meeting, hosted by Party Secretary Liu Kuiying and President Professor Zu Lei, focused on strengthening ties between the two institutions.

In addition, President Professor Sibrandes Poppema led a delegation of Sunway University, including Professor Chai Lay Ching (Pro Vice-Chancellor for Education) and Mr. Lester Lee from the International Office of Partnership and Recruitment, to Yantai, Shandong. The visit on December 11 aimed to solidify collaborations slated for 2024. The discussions were fruitful and were graciously welcomed by President Professor Tao Hu, Vice President Li Xiliang, and other distinguished delegates.
