Kampung Kira-Kira Debut Project
In the wake of the Kampung Kira-Kira Pilot Community Project’s success, the School of Mathematical Sciences is proud to highlight the debut of the Kampung Kira-Kira Community Project!
Partnering with Sekolah Kebangsaan USJ 20, a local national primary school, our student body embraced the responsibility of empowering the local youth and strengthening the bonds of the local community!
Creatively integrating central elements representative of Malaysia’s rich history and interconnected community with fundamental mathematical concepts, the team spent the better half of a weekend with over 50 local primary students, conducting a series of mathematical games in a circuit style format; participants rushing from station to station to complete various Malaysian themed mathematical equations and games.
The reception towards the event was a triumphant success, with our project partner reporting that attendees found the experience to be inspiring and enriching towards their interest and understanding of mathematics.
The School of Mathematical Sciences is humbled and inspired by the level of dedication that the organising team has exemplified.
We applaud you!
A special thanks to Headmaster A. Rahim Bin Mohd Mislani and Mr Mohamad Fakrullah bin Abdul Aziz for your support in making this event happen!
