A Successful Start to Our Inaugural Hybrid Event Hosted in Conjunction with IEEE Day 2024

We were thrilled to welcome in-person guests from Malaysia’s IEEE AP/MTT/EMC Society, including esteemed academics, researchers, and postgraduate students from various universities such as UTM, UTHM, IIUM, UM, UiTM, UNIMAP, and UKM. After a productive session, we toured our guests around the campus, including a visit to the Keysight Technologies IoT lab, which they thoroughly enjoyed.

On the virtual side, we were excited to see around 40 participants, many from the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE), Japan, actively engaging with the session.

A special thank you to Ts. Dr. Ngu War Hlaing,  for coordinating everything seamlessly with the incredible support of the School of Engineering and Technology at Sunway University. We are also grateful to Prof. Yoshihide Yamada, Assoc. Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Kamilia Kamardin, Assoc. Prof. Fauziahanim Seman, Dr. Izni Husna Idris, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Norun Abdul Malek, and the IEEE AP/MTT/EMC Society for giving us the opportunity to host this fantastic event.

Thanks to Mrs Azah Syafiah M. Marzuki, Mrs. Farah Abdul Rahman, and Prof. Mukhlisin, who traveled from Semarang, Indonesia. A big thank you to Assoc. Prof Ir. Dr. Al-Mahfoodh Ali and Ts. Pyi Phyo Aung for reigniting this valuable collaboration!
