Sunway Business School Students Explore Sustainable Farming at Farm Fresh@UPM
Sunway Business School students had the unique opportunity to visit Farm Fresh@UPM, immersing themselves in a day filled with hands-on learning and agricultural fun on 13 December 2024.
The visit offered an in-depth experience into sustainable farming and livestock management, fostering greater appreciation for the agricultural industry.
The tour began with a visit to the cow barn, where students learned about the milking process and the practices behind producing fresh, high-quality milk.
Following this, they explored the farm animal enclosures, meeting a variety of animals, including goats, rabbits, reptiles, deers, and even the impressive Brahma Chicken, known for its large size and distinctive feathered feet.
The visit wrapped up on a sweet note with students enjoying delicious fresh milk ice cream, a perfect way to cool down after an educational day under the sun.
