Sunway Student Volunteers Support STAR Adoption Drive at Sunway Giza Mall

Sunway Student Volunteers (SSV) collaborated with Shikin's Team Animal Rescuer (STAR) for the highly anticipated STAR Adoption Drive at Sunway Giza Mall on 15 November 2024. The event aimed to raise awareness about animal adoption, engage the public in a charity sale, and encourage food donations to support rescued animals.

The volunteers’ tasks included placing cats into their respective cages, arranging food and water, setting up a dog fence, and displaying keychains and pins for the charity sale.

Throughout the event, they worked tirelessly to promote animal adoption and charity items while fostering meaningful conversations with attendees. One volunteer even helped walk the dogs, bringing added visibility to the cause.

Once the event concluded, the volunteers were each presented with a keychain or pin as a token of appreciation for their hard work and dedication.

The STAR Adoption Drive was not only a resounding success in promoting animal adoption and raising funds but also a testament to the volunteers' compassion and teamwork. By the end of the day, the team returned with a renewed sense of purpose, knowing they had made a positive impact in the lives of rescued animals.
