Sunway University and Universiti Brunei Darussalam Forge Pioneering Research Partnership
The School of Medical and Life Sciences (SMLS) at Sunway University is taking the lead in an impactful collaboration with Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD). This collaboration marks a significant milestone in fostering interdisciplinary research and innovation between our institutions.
Our first official meeting was a resounding success, featuring prominent figures from both universities:
• Professor Mahendhiran Sanggaran Nair, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Research and Sustainability at Sunway University
• Professor Raja Affendi Raja Ali, Dean of SMLS
• Dr Joyce Teo Siew Yean, Assistant Vice-Chancellor at UBD
• Professor Dr Mohammad Ayub Sadiq, Assistant Vice-Chancellor from UBD
This partnership aims to leverage our collective expertise to explore new research opportunities, secure matching grants, and drive sustainable development initiatives. We are committed to fostering a culture of academic excellence and global collaboration.
