Marko Sarstedt, a chaired professor of marketing at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich and an adjunct research professor at Babeș-Bolyai-University Cluj-Napoca, hosted a research seminar discussing what makes a research idea "great" from both an editor's and author's perspective.
He drew on success factor research in strategic management to highlight the requirements needed to translate a research project into a top-tier publication.
The seminar also provided an overview of current marketing trends that can be applied to other fields such as IS. With over 100,000 citations, his research ranks among the most frequently cited in the social sciences, and he has been repeatedly named a member of Clarivate Analytics' Highly Cited Researchers List.
