This project was launched to develop a robust and reliable long-term GDP forecasting model to support the country's economic stability, growth, and competitiveness. The team of experienced economists from Sunway IGSC tackled this challenge, recognizing the vital importance of forecasting in determining the future course of action. Accurate GDP forecasting is critical to any global strategy, enabling organizations and governments to make informed decisions and allocate resources effectively. In an increasingly interconnected and competitive world, having a clear picture of the future is more important than ever. This project provides a comprehensive forecast of Malaysia’s economic units offering a roadmap for unlocking its full economic potential and competitiveness in the global market.
