Principal Activities
- Design, develop, synthesize and characterize advanced 2D materials to improve the performance of various applications across disciplines with the primary aim of enhancing energy efficiency.
- Integrate heat transfer, tribology, material science and biotechnology through interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research to address thermal and electrochemical energy, harvesting, conversion and storage problems.
- Support local industries with solutions based on advanced materials with high commercial potential and societal impact, thereby addressing national and other related Sustainable Development Goals.
